Prankster gets shot and killed

ATLANTA — Authorities say a driver enraged because a 17-year-old boy egged his Mercedes on Halloween fatally shot the prankster in the neck and throat as he tried to run away.

Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones says the driver confronted the teen and fired 10 shots at him around 8 p.m. Sunday. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office says the teen, Tivarus King, died as he was being taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Jones says officers dispatched to the scene in northwest Atlanta spotted a gold Mercedes driving by and detained the driver. She says the suspect is being questioned by homicide investigators but has not yet been charged.

The owner the vehicle to me was extremely wrong for killing that poor child. He could of handled that situation much better. That car could of been washed and as good as new in no time. Instead the guy would shoot a kid 10 times. He has taken a child's life for a possession. The child should of burned the car for the consequences he faced. The police should charge that guy for murder because he made the choice to pull out the his gun and fire that many times. I just don't understand why he would get that mad. That was absurdly unacceptable. I don't care if it was a Beemer, Benz, or Bentley. He should of completely thought out his actions.
